Having an Asthma Attack

I can’t stop thinking about it.I am down physically and emotionally.Yes, my nightmare ”ASTHMA”.

I know so many people out there try to deal with it.I just try to say ”don’t be afraid of it” but, there is huge word ”BUT”.If you are not responsible and don’t using your asthma inhalers on time it could be a disaster. That is what happened to me last couple of weeks every single night.First, I want to describe what exactly ”ASTHMA” it is?

Asthma is a chronic (long-term) lung disease that inflames and narrows the airways. Asthma causes recurring periods of wheezing (a whistling sound when you breathe), chest tightness, shortness of breath, and coughing. The coughing often occurs at night or early in the morning.Asthma affects people of all ages, but it most often starts during childhood. To understand asthma, it helps to know how the airways work. The airways are tubes that carry air into and out of your lungs. People who have asthma have inflamed airways. The inflammation makes the airways swollen and very sensitive. The airways tend to react strongly to certain inhaled substances. When the airways react, the muscles around them tighten. This narrows the airways, causing less air to flow into the lungs. The swelling also can worsen, making the airways even narrower. Cells in the airways might make more mucus than usual. Mucus is a sticky, thick liquid that can further narrow the airways.Sometimes asthma symptoms are mild and go away on their own or after minimal treatment with asthma medicine. Other times, symptoms continue to get worse.Shortly saying that Asthma has no cure.Only can be threaten for a while.

After having an asthma attack, I try to eliminate some daily stuff from my life to understand what is beyond my illness.

  • Remove all the dust from your house as soon as possible and every day.

  • Switch off electronic gadgets which has fun (rotary wing) e.c. Plasma TV, fun for Computer and if you can try to avoid using radiator. This will help you to take control of flying dust in the air.

  • Be aware of what you eating or drinking to. For example:don’t drink wine if you think you are not in good situation.Having an alcohol my cost you very expensive.

  • Don’t drink any kind of alcohol during your asthma treatment.

  • Try to avoid dairy products like processed cheese, farmed fish, farmed eggs.Anything which is not organic may effect you.

If you start to practice those listed things from your daily life you can start to control your ”ASTHMA”.
